Made this smaller aluminum nib holder recently. It’s just over 3” long with a knurled finish and a custom brass insert for the nibs for the people that don’t really need the alignment tool on the back.
Feels like a nice middle ground. Small enough to throw in your pocket but still long enough to sit comfortably in your hand while you’re using it. Lightweight, simple, and feels good to work with.
