Most tattoos start with a free tattoo consultation. It takes about 30 minutes, costs nothing, and it's where we work out what you're actually getting before anything is committed to. If we've already talked through your design, or you're getting something small or off the flash page, you can skip that step and book straight in.

Not Sure Yet? Start with a tattoo Consultation
It takes about 30 minutes and costs nothing. We sit down, go over your idea, talk through placement and size, and put together a rough plan and a loose layout. You'll leave knowing about how long the piece will take and roughly what it'll cost.
Part of that conversation is being straight with you. If an idea won't hold up over time, I'll say so up front, and then we'll work out something that will.
If you're coming from out of town, we can do the same thing over a video call and have it sorted before you travel.
This is the starting point for most work, and definitely for:
Sleeves, back pieces, or anything large
Cover-ups
Anything where placement needs planning
An idea you're not sure how to translate into a tattoo
Not knowing what you want yet, which is fine
You don't need it figured out beforehand. One solid idea is usually enough to start.
AVAILABILITY and Wait Times
Larger, detailed work needs drawing time up front, so it books further out. Smaller pieces move faster and sometimes same-week.
I book about three months ahead at most. Further out than that and the schedule stops being realistic.

When You Can Book Straight In
Skip the consultation if:
We've already talked about your design, by email or in person
It's a smaller or simpler piece
Pick a date that works for you. If I need more prep time than that allows, I'll let you know and we'll set a start date that works.
A retainer holds the spot and comes off the final cost. Final price is based on how long the work takes.Small tattoos I can often do on short notice. I leave gaps in the schedule for them, so it's worth asking even if nothing looks open
