A comfortable, two-piece screw-together grip for the Apple Pencil Pro. Slide it on, give the two halves a twist, and a built-in collet clamps down so it stays put, and easy to move to another pencil whenever you want.
What's new in v2
More ergonomic shape — reworked the profile into a rounded "egg" that sits nicer in the hand.
Diamond knurling — added texture across the grip so it's easier to hold and doesn't slip.
Seam moved to the middle — the split is now mid-grip, so you've got a solid surface to hold on each half. Way easier to tighten than gripping the ends.
Better clamping — improved the internal collet and threads, so it locks onto the pencil firmly and holds without wobble.
The grip is two halves that screw together. Drop your pencil in, thread the two halves together, and snug it down. The collet fingers squeeze in and grip the pencil. Back it off a turn to slide it off or reposition. Simple twist-to-lock.
Layer height: 0.12 mm

Infill: 35%
Supports: none needed
Orientation: stand each half outer end down on the bed (threaded/open end up)
These are what I've been printing and they come out great, feel free to experiment with the wall count and infill if you want to tune strength or print time.
Prints well in PLA. PETG is a nice option too if you want a little more toughness in the collet fingers. Any color works, the knurling looks especially good in a matte finish.
Two parts to print: one male half and one female half. Print one of each, screw them together around your pencil, and you're done.
