Started from solid 1” brass stock and machined down to a 7/8” grip with a clean knurled and profiled finish. This one has a little more length than a standard tattoo machine grip which gives it a really comfortable feel in the hand, especially for longer drawing sessions.
The back end features a machined stainless steel A-bar alignment tool, while the front has a fitted brass insert for the nib itself. Everything is made to be durable, serviceable, and built to last decades with normal use.
Weighing in at 9.15 oz, it definitely has some heft to it, but in a good way. The solid brass gives it a really planted feel on cold press paper and helps steady the hand when pulling lines.
